Purpose of using Shrink Wrap

-To enclose Boats for protection from the elements when they are stored outside during the season.

-To protect new Boats as they are transported from the builder to the dealer.

-To enclose Boats for international shipping.

Shrink Wrap for Transportation 

-While shrink wrap can protect the boat from road tar and dirt,  we do recommend your money be spent on a good wash down before pick up.

-Shrink Wrap can and does tear or fly-off during transit. This will cause considerable damage from beating against the boat and chaffing. Drivers carry tape, and we will try to repair it if possible. If we can't, we will have to remove it.

-Keep in mind that the drivers' view is often obstructed, and at night he can't always see that the shrink wrap has torn. Nor can the driver hear the shrink wrap flapping in the wind.
